Is there a default padstone depth in Superbeam? Obviously you can manipulate length and width.

Thanks

There is no default padstone depth. For unreinforced padstones the depth should be not less than the projection of the padstone beyond the beam edges. For example if the beam is 140mm wide and the padstone is 400mm, the minimum padstone depth is 130mm ([400-140]/2).

A lot of manufacturers make standard thicknesses and sizes e.g. Stressline make 102, 190 or 215mm. Is there any possibility of somehow saving these standard sizes to they can be selected automatically?, maybe that is very difficult to do.

Another question re padstones - Stressline catalogue gives Length, Height and Thickness, I have assumed the length is the same as in Superbeam, Thickness is the same as Width and Height is what the first post of this thread is about?, I notice some Building Control say Depth which again I assume is Height?.
