Parallel flange channels.

For the first time I have had the need to use aa PFC in EuroBeam only to find they are not in the data file. Is there anyway of adding them or will you be adding them in the near future.

PS is there any way of setting the default printing to one copy in EuroBeam. I always forget to cancel all those i do not want. Have a spare paper mountain now.

Channels aren't in the current EuroBeam release because they are not covered by the [relatively] simple LTB method we use. They may get added later but this is not a promise.

Re the printing issue, I thought I'd fixed this in the current release; if not I will do so when I'm back in Melbourne at the end of the month.

Hi - any progress on including Parallel Flange Channels since the last post in 2008?

Thanks in anticipation.

Nothing has changed since my 2011 reply, but I will take a further look at this in the next month or two. No promises though.

Could you add my name to the list of interested users please?

After all the TATA Bluebook appears to include results for PFC's to Eurocode standards - so maybe its time to be on a par with them?

And, pushing my luck, HEB's which are becoming more and more popular on the residential properties I deal with.

:)

Apologies for not updating this thread at the time: PFC sections were added to EuroBeam 1.30a released 30 November 2013.
