Default Flange Plate Splice Joint

Trying to design some splice joints in a 254 x 254 x 73 UC. The calculation will not show and I get a message saying " Splice Joint not possible: steel section not found"

Any advice or help much appreciated.

Sorry just read earlier post which listed a work around that you supplied Tony, which worked fine. But has this pain returned in 7?

I have just updated to 7 and have the same problem. Its was holding up a job issue to my client. Have calculated by hand and got round it but very frustrating.

If you get this problem after a project is renumbered (e.g. item moved up or down or deleted), then this problem should now be fixed (properly this time, hopefully) in 7.00f, just released.
