Default Vale Dr Brian Anderson

Those of you who were users of our software back in SDA days may have used our SuperHeat software. This checked new dwellings for compliance with Part L and produced SAP Ratings. We sold it to Elmhurst Energy in January 2008.

The methodology behind SAP Ratings and the compliance regime for SAP Rating software was masterminded by Dr Brian Anderson of BRE Scotland. Each time Part L changed and we had to go through the accreditation process I would frequently have discussions with Brian over matters of interpretation and how to implement the requirements in our software. He was always a pleasure to deal with and so I was particularly sad to hear of his death. You can find his obituary at http://www.heraldscotland.com/opinio...sor_on_energy/
