Tony, I'm getting it in the ear from various clients, contractors etc., regarding the size of the PDF files generated by SB4, normally this isn't a problem as we can reduce the file size in the Acrobat program itself, but it wont let us do that to the files generated by SB4 - is there a way to work around this? thanks...

Sorry for not responding to your original post. This is on my to-do list - I did a quick check and agree that the PDF files produced by the latest releases are larger than ones produced by earlier releases. As you would have seen from the ReadMe files, we changed the PDF library we use a few months ago, as we could not overcome stability issues with the earlier one.
As a workaround for now, if you have a PDF generator installed (such as Acrobat full version) you can produce PDFs by selecting 'Printer' for the output and the PDF generator as the selected printer.
