Sorry, that's a known problem with 3.10a. I'll send you a direct download link for 3.10b. Note that 3.10a and 3.10b are functionally identical save that the 'Check website for updates' option returns an error in 3.10a.

Dear Tony,

I'm getting the same firewall error using EB 3.10a, although the latest updates for SB & PS downloaded fine

As per my post above, 3.10a won't allow in-application updating. If you've got 3.10a installed and want to move to 3.10c (though the changes are minor), send us an email and we'll send you a direct download link.

A major new release incorporating a brand new heading designer should be released in the next couple of weeks. It's taking longer to finalise than anticipated but will be worth the wait.

I'm guessing those updates are due any day now, right? Or are they already available?

Next couple of weeks is a technical term meaning ....

It has taken longer to complete than anticipated, but I am now confident that the next EuroBeam release incorporating the new page designer will be released next weekend. You can see a preview at https://www.superbeam.co.uk/new-page...g-designer.htm which will serve as a temporary instruction sheet until the documentation catches up. SuperBeam and ProSteel should follow on in a couple of weeks.

My confidence was a little misplaced, but EuroBeam 3.19a is now available for download in the usual way.

If you're currently running 3.10a and getting firewall error messages, please email support@eurobeam.co.uk for a direct download link.
