Default The latest ProSteel 7, e update

Tony,

When installing the latest 'e' version update I have noticed that on the loading splash screen it says version e, if you come out of Prosteel and reload it says version 'b'.

This happens on my Laptop and Desktop both Windows 10.

Regards

Bob

Hi Tony,

Did you replicate the issue with this update? "Install ProSteel 7.19e"

When first updating the splash screen says version 7.19e
When checking Help about the software reports 7.19e
When you exit and then re open ProSteel the version Splash screen and help about message reverts back to Version 7.06b

I've just uploaded 7.19f - main change is multi-monitor support but hopefully it will also fix things for you.

Sorry Tony,

But update once again it first open with the new update, but reverts back to old version once you close and reopen Pro steel

As mentioned this occurs on my Desk top and Laptop both running windows 10

Thanks for trying

Tony,

Did anyone else have this issue, when I update and have ProSteel load on update the about screen show the correct current new update, I close out and re-open and it reverts back to the old update version ProSteel 7 release 7.06b.

Any ideas, as one day you will make an essential change and I will not be up to date.

As mentioned I am running Windows 10

Regards

Bob

Have you by any chance got two ProSteel icons on your desktop? By default Windows displays All User icons first, then Current User icons. ProSteel used to install for current user (i.e. icon in second list) and now gives you a choice, defaulting to all users (first list). If this is the case, delete the one that's giving you the older version.
