Default HF CHS + HEB Sections

Tony,

The Tata Blue Book shows more CHS than in the Eurobeam tables
e.g for 89.6 CHS
Eurobeam = 3.2mm; 4.0mm; 5.0mm and 6.3mm
Tata Blue Book = 2.9; 3.2; 3.6; 4.0; 4.5; 5.0; 5.6; 6.3; 8.0; 10.0

Any chace of filling the gaps?

Also it would be nice to have the European HEB sections which have started to appear on the UK market.

Regards
Colin

Thanks for the idea: I will look at doing this when time permits.

Question Re: HF CHS + HEB Sections

Just a thought - but maybe provide a facility whereby users can extend the range of section sizes themselves?

Yes, as with SuperBeam and ProSteel, the EuroBeam steel data file is plain text and can (with care) be edited by users. At this stage though I would advise against adding in other section families as they may not be correctly handled inside the program.
