Default Timber file values for 'E'

Hi Tony,

I have downloaded the latest Superbeam and have found the modulus 'E' for timber does not show in the timber box, as before, i just get a zero. The value for 'E' does show on the main screen however.
Also, when 'wet' values are used, not only is a zero in the timber box, but on the main screen it shows 'used defined' and the deflection does not take into account for the 'wet' values of 'E'.

i am using my own modified timber data file, have done for years.

Could it be that you have changed the format of the default timber file so the vales for 'E' are not shown and 'wet' values are not calculated.

I have now reinstalled a previous version to help me out.

Any information on the timber file/problem will be very useful.

Also, now that I use my own modified timber file, i cannot find the default timber file ?? where is it ?

Many thanks - Martin

Yes, sorry should have updated this thread too - problem fixed in 4.58e. To revert to the internal timber data file, go to Configuration, User Setup, File Names and Locations and change the timber data file name to DEFAULT. The default timber data will be used next time the program is run.
