Default possible problem with latest eurobeam

Hi Tony

Have installed the latest release of eurobeam but it does not print steel splices as it says there is a bitmap problem

Just wondered if it was a problem or my settings

thanks

John

I've had no other reports to date; I'll check it out tomorrow.

Hi Tony

just thought I would let you know the following

If I design a beam and print it then do the splice and print it no problem at all

If I do a whole set of calcs and that includes a splice and try and print project I get a bitmap error and rest of the calcs print but not the splice and if I try and go back into the printing afterwards the tick box to print splice is ticked but a light grey and does not print

hope that helps

regards

john

I've checked this out here and cannot replicate the problem but will keep it flagged in case we get further reports.

Tony

I have been having the same problem of printing the beam connections especially if it is a large project. That is only if going direct to a printer, in my case a HP Laserjet. I have found two ways round the problem. One is to use the by content numbering and print in batches and the second is to send to a PDF file and then print from there.

A new round of releases (SB4.62a, PS5.52a, EB1.31b) was posted yesterday and these are available through each program's Check Website for Updates option. The printing routines for the various diagrams (beam loading, BM/SF, connections beam web openings and beam splices) has been completely revised and hopefully will overcome the problems some of you have encountered.
